What do you use to clean the stainless steel sink?

I recognize the stainless steel used in the kitchen sink is not the highest quality - it sometimes shows some signs of tarnishing (dare I say oxidation?)

What do you use to return the sink to its pristine, like-new condition?

Thanks.

baking soda, a little water to make a paste and "elbow grease". You could be daring and use some pure carnuba wax afterwards too.

One thing i do in the bathroom sink is to dry it and the faucet with a small sponge left on the vanity just for that. It even keeps the plastic drain shiny.

As for using carnuba wax on the stainless sink, keep in mind that the reason we don't use Dawn to wash our trailers and trucks is because Dawn cuts wax and removes it, so spending time waxing a stainless sink with carnuba wax and then washing dishes with Dawn.... Well, you get the picture.....

Oops! Didn't think of that. I don't know what we use in the trailer (I should as I have dish duty) but I'll double-check.

Bar Keepers friend on the stainless and Gel-Gloss on fixtures and shower. The Gel-Gloss will even keep chrome plated plastic looking good for years. A coat of gel-gloss before storage will help to stop any rusting of the cheap sink. JM2¢, Hank

I use baking soda then spray white vinegar and let it "bubble" for about 5 mins then use a non abrasive scrub pad and rinse...shiny results
