Four quads in a 12' garage?
We are picking up a new to us Raptor 361 LEV in the next week, can anyone share with me will four full size quads fit in the 12' garage? If you have pictures it would be helpful.
Thank you in advance!
Dan

As long as they are each less than aprox 6ft long and 3ft-10in wide. If you have the quads its a matter of measuring them to see as different models are maybe different sizes.

I looked up three average quads with my friend Google and found this to be the average size for medium sized units: 48 inches wide by 83 inches long.
Or in other words, ain't gonna happen. You might get four of the kids models in there with a lot of effort, but not four real quads.

Actually, you can get the same info I can. Your TRX Hondas are 46.3 inches wide by 72 inches long. The KFX450r is 46.1 inches wide and 71 inches long.
You find the YFZ 450 and get back to us. mathematically you may make it. Wanna buy a shoe horn? Maybe some grease to make them slide in?
Let's hear from someone that has actually measured the side to side width of the garage, please.

The specs notanlines quoted do not include winches, bumpers or other accessories, all of which add to length and width. The YFZ 450 is 70.7" long and 48.8" wide, again, these dimensions don't include any accessories, most of which will add to length/width.
Now, the width of the garage is probably more of a limiting factor than length of the garage. If the Raptor is 101" wide with 2.5" sidewalls, that would give you about 96" of "interior width" which would be reduced by any sidewall mounted items (rear bed rails, window or door frames, etc). If (and this is your "truly critical problem", the Raptor is 98" or 96" wide, then your interior width would be 93" or 91". Either of those widths would make loading your quads impossible, even if the sidewalls were completely clear of any attachments.
I would think that even "if" they fit, they wouldn't clear the rear ramp frame or the overhead bed frame which is mounted on the sidewalls.
If it's mandatory that you load all 4 of your quads and if you haven't yet taken possession of the Raptor, you might want to do a trial loading before you sign the final purchase agreement. My "best guess" is that the four quads you list won't fit in a 12' garage, both in length and more critically, in width. Even if you could "stagger the tires" to accommodate the width, you don't have the length in the garage to make staggering possible.
I'd do some fast checking before signing any purchase agreement !!!!!

I'd remeasure that. Even if it is 102" wide (the maximum allowed exterior width), with 2.5" sidewalls (2" aluminum studs with luan/FILON on the exterior and luan on the interior), the maximum interior width would be 97" and that doesn't include any ramp frame infringement or vertical bed supports that are mounted to the sidewalls.

Having given a little more thought to this I checked back in and saw that John has addressed my next problem. Even if you could slide them into that space, the last obstacle is going to be the build-out John spoke of on the left and right ramp framing. Any chance you can boost your budget and towing/cargo capacity to a triple axle-16 foot garage?

Had the chance to go measure the actual coach, it’s 98 5/8” wide x 144” long, going to be tight!

This could be the answer. You may have to drain the fuel so it doesn't leak out of the vent in the cap. I have seen this done many times with sport quads as they are light enough to lift by hand. I even remember seeing a winch and track set up in someone's trailer to be able to lift the front of their 4x4's and stand them up.

I also thought I may just build some aluminum ramps to raise the first two machines up 18" +/- which effectively shortens them and I won't have to lift them.

I’m wondering how the suspension system will handle the weight. I’d also just have to have 14 ply tires if not already installed. Lot of weight

Lifting those 700’s is going to be a pain. I used to own one and know how heavy they are. I assume you are talking about the 700xx

don't have pic's, but I load 2 utility Grizzly ATV's 48" wide. One forward, one reverse. front tires are narrower. This is in a hair under 96". But it takes some time to position them. I have seen utility's with sport ATV front wheel strapped to the rear rack. That saves some space

I layed out my shop floor 98 5/8” x 144” and was able to get (1) Honda trx 700, (1) Kawasaki KFX450, (1) Yamaha YFZ450r and Can Am DS650x in there with tires on the floor. However the Honda has a cooler rack that needs to come off to do it.
