Maybe because your F250 had Ford soft F250 springs not meant to carry a 15,000# GVWR 5er. If your F250 had a camper package might be different.

Thanks for all the replies. I decided to put air bags on the 350 simply to see what they would do. Picked up a set for $375 and did them myself. They do raise the truck off the rear bump stop so will see when I can take it out again next month. I also ordered a set of Bilsteins for $130 so why not give them a try too just for grins. If these don't make the ride a little better I will be surprised.

Based on $130 you only bought rears, replace the fronts also for the complete package.

I am not a Hypocrite, I do tell others don't run over numbers. I will I suggest if buying a TV, to get one that will keep them in numbers, it is the best choice.

I have done battle with the other weight police on this forum over my setup. I am looking for the right replacement for my Ram, BUT tough to replace something that works so well. Just got DD to buy a nice 2004 Ram 3500 DRW to tow her four horse with living quarters 30' GN trailer.

I just scaled it about two weeks ago, the numbers were big. Pin is right at 2,600#, our 5er is slightly over it's 12,360# GVWR. I have stated before our Ram has tow and Camper Package, 3500 springs, Dana 80 rear axle with a Manufacture axle rating north of 9,000#, I will state that I am still under the 6,084# Ram GAWR with a loaded weight of 5,900#. I do this all without bags or other suspension additions other than a full set of Bilstein 5100's. Within ALL axle and tire ratings. By the way my 2500 is loaded so dry weighs well over the 6,600# you show.

Wireman134, I know my weights only over GVWR, and due to the 355's GCVWR, but I also have about 300 hp and 600# torque.

I took the pictures below at a stop just after weighing for a dog relief stop.

This is her new Horse trailer getting new tires before the 250 mile tow home, yes empty, but still about 2,600# pin.

I'm towing with an all stock truck and think it's great. But, it is my first time towing a 5th wheel and have nothing to compare against.

Well not sure if you are a hypocrite, self proclaimed Weight Police or a troll. You have a total of eight post all telling people they are over their “Payload”. I know what I weigh and I know the GVWR of my TV, I also know the axle ratings for it and to me currently that is what counts.
You don’t have a signature so we can see what you are towing and what you are towing it with.
