Hello from Manitoba!

After years of borrowing my in-laws trailers (and having to compromise on style of trailer and camping dates!) we have finally taken the plunge and purchased our very own trailer! We have begun our third year at a seasonal campground (so no travel required) and have chosen a (slightly) used 2013 Montana Mountaineer 345DBQ. Quite a beast for our "first" trailer! With our 2 kids and 2 dogs, and plenty of friends and family wanting to stay with us, it was the perfect choice at a bargain price!

Anyone else out there have seasonal camping with a 5th wheel? Any tips or unique situations you have come across we should watch out for in a 5th wheel?

Happy summer all!

Congrats on the trailer and have fun being seasonal. We were seasonal for 11 years in a travel trailer and then a 12 wide park model. Lots of fun and easy to do, enjoy.

Can't help you on the seasonal camping but as a new owner of a Mountaineer it's nice to see another mountaineer owner. We have been out to Stephenfield for 5 days and next week heading to Clear Lake for 3 weeks. These trips are all shakedown trips for our 5 months in Az this winter. Welcome to the Monana club.
Ps. You might want to try the MOC for some ideas.
