Yeah, I haven't figured out what I'm going to do about hooking the safety chains to the hitch yet. I will probably go to Tractor supply and see if they have something there that works.

That's where I ended up getting mine. I still had to grind off an 1/8 th inch of the locking tab to make them work.

On my Chevy 3500, you have to come in from the side with the hook. YMMV. Take a look to see if you have an oval slot on the side of the receiver box.

Yes, I replaced the hooks. They let me take a couple outside to test.

You do have to turn them sideways and rotate the in, but the is no side hole on the Ford.
