Stove
This could probably be posted anywhere on here. The gas stove won't light using the knob I call the clicker, obviously it just creates a spark. Anyway stove works fine using a lighter, but not by using the knob. Any suggestions ?

Let's get the correct facts. Is this the stove top burners? 1 or all. Or is this in the stove (the oven)?

How old is the trailer/stove? You can have a bad ignitor on one burner and not the others or just ??

We found that on our rig the wire from the igniter would come loose from the igniter and all it took was to plug it back in again. I finally crushed the connector a little and it hasn't come loose for quite a while. Check that the wire is still connected to the igniter.

Local it is probably the igniter for the burners that went bad. No spark at all?

There's a caution in the owner's manual for the stove to "NOT" turn the rotary sparker knob in the wrong direction. I can't say that's your problem, but if you have turned it CCW several times, you may have damaged the ratchet mechanism in the rotary knob. It will still "turn the same" and "click the same" but the piezo igniter doesn't spark the same. You may need to replace the rotary knob device.
Another "thing to check" is the small hole in the burner right next to the sparker anode. Sometimes grease and cooking splashes will block the hole and propane can't flow through to the spark so even if it's sparking, there's no propane to ignite. Sometimes it just takes a toothpick to push through the crud to fix things.

We have this issue periodically with our stove. Hard to explain sometimes see spark others we don't.

No, the pilot flame in the oven is "on your knees with a match" there's no igniter on the Atwood ovens. I understand that the new Furrion ovens do have an igniter, but I haven't worked on any, so that's "just heresay" .....

Probably does not operate the oven, however we need to know the brand/model. You can simply look at the pilot light and watch for a spark.

Yup!! Sweet as candy. Two different styles depending on model. One uses the cooktop sparker. On the “separate” models you just turn the temp knob to pilot and press in.

A few years back there was a post about adding sparker to the oven, try the search. If I can find link I will post. I did the upgrade and also added a metal mirror to the oven door so don't have to bend over to check flame.---Lou---
