No Electrical power

2018 Montana HC 380. In storage a month with power to keep batteries charged.
Shore Power keeping refrig going interior lights. However today control panel not powering slideouts, awnings, generator. Batteries(4) all show fully charged. When shore power disconnected all power goes off and batteries remain disconnected????

I also answered you on the Montana forum

Do you have a multi meter to check the battery levels when disconnected from shore power? You might check the battery disconnect switch to make sure it's on.

When on shore power, and with a functioning converter, all your power levels will look good. You might have bad batteries. But check to make sure.

Thanks, Jeff. I have tested the batteries and all 4 6v batteries were at 2.5 v. I have put them on a charger for tonight and will see how they look tomorrow.
It has been plugged into shore power so don’t know why they aren’t charging. Charging issue or bad batteries….

You need to test the output of the converter.

You really need to verify that the battery disconnect switch is closed. If it is open/off, even with the rig plugged in to power, there will be no charge going to the batteries.

chucksters57. Agree need to check my Converter output and fuses…. My paper work showed I have a deck mounted WFCO Ultra III we-9800 series, however I can not find it. Any ideas where it would be in a 2017 Montana HC380. Don’t see behind crawl space wall or behind power / cab panel in Coach, or under steps going into front living space…
I don’t show any increase in voltage to batteries or changes in any of my four red CB in the battery compartment
Appreciate any help in locating….

Deck mounted converter will have a power cord no longer than 3 feet. If it’s not behind the breaker panel then it has to be behind the rear wall of the front storage compartment. I have seen an outlet mounted a ways away from the breaker panel.

converter location

in 373rd the converter is located behind the circuit box attached to the top of the cargo area that serves as the bathroom room. I had to remove the fiber board in the front storage to access, reach thru all the electrical wires and pex tubing to reach it. It should be plugged into an outlet that is built in to the back of the breaker box. I added a new cord (extension) to the new one I installed so I could mount in a more convenient location.

Thank you all. For my 380 model the electrical panel is in the half wall between kitchen and the front living room. I found the converter behind the control panel by tracing the electrical wire from the panel and the going into the crawl space, open a panel in the crawl space and finding the wiring leading to the top of that area. Ended up replacing converter and my batteries fixing the problem.

if one of the batteries is bad it will blow up your converter. sos you will want to also check your converter after you test your battery.
