Propane hose connections questions

I bought an extension hose for the propane quick attach at the back of my TT. I bought a 1/4" but it is too small for the female fitting attached to my TT. Can someone tell me what size I need? I have attached some pics.

Also what do i need to get to replace the regulator on my grill since it's already regulated at the tanks?

They come in two sizes 1/4" and 3/8". On our unit they used the 1/4" for the stove on the outside kitchen and 3/8" on the rear for the bumper mounted grill. I can only guess they thought the grill needed higher flow rate for the btu's. You did not mention the brand of your grill. Many brands sell conversion kits, google the brand and regulator removal you may find what you need. There have been many posts on this forum to try searching the forum as well.

i have searched for the 3/8" male quick connect adapter or hose and cannot seem to find one? can i just remove the 3/8" female quick connect fitting and replace it with a 1/4" female fitting? I've been searching for that also and don't seem to see anything?

I don't know what search engine you are using but when I searched Google I got over 450000 hits.

yes, i have googled searched, here is the issue i'm running into. The female quick disconnect at the rear bumper is what I believe to be 3/8" female. I have found a hose that has the 3/8" male connection, but i'm not sure what to do on the female end of that hose since it will also be 3/8". i assume there has to be an adapter from 3/8" to whatever goes into the portable grill?
