Another slide-out question!

So quick question. If you picture your slide out as you are extending it out, you notice that it makes contact at the top first then sucks the bottom out creating the tight seal. 2 of my 3 do this just fine. My "entertainment center" slide is just the opposite. The bottom makes contact and then thats it. The top is left with a 1 inch gap or so, not compressing any of the seals. Any way to adjust the timing or something on it to make it seal all the way? This has been my first 5er with slides.

Have you checked the slack on your cables?

Can't say i've done that. I think they are electric motors on a rail is all. At least that's what it looks like from underneath the slide.

My bad. Thought you had cable slides. Not familiar with your slide type. Hopefully someone else will chime in shortly.

Another slide-out question!

You can adjust the Slide height.
Retract room about 12 inches.
Look underneath and you should find a bolt sticking down at the outer edge of the rails. The plate should have 2 bolts holding the rail to a plate on the slide. MAKE sure the VERTICAL bolt is touching the plate, loosen the horizontal bolts and then loosen the vertical bolt to drop the outside edge of the slide. Do BOTH ends THE SAME amount, and small adjustments. Tighten the horizontal bolts and run the room.

On the "power" rail there should be a large threaded rod. You shouldn't need to adjust it.

Thanks Chuck! I will check it out this afternoon. Would like to solve my issue before Monday cause we take off with it for a week to Glacier.
