If and when the slide out doesn't work can someone point me in the right direction for the manual backup?

If and when the slide does not retract where is the manual backup. The owners manual is a generic write off for all Keystone RV's which is ...........

I don't know where my thread went so again I will ask the same question.
Does anyone know where the manual backup is for the slide out? The Keystone RV manual is generic to the max.......

I have a 281RLS and the slide motor is under the couch . On the end of the motor is a small socket connection. You can spin it with an electric drill and flexible socket set. Only trouble Ive had is the trunion position nuts got loose and caused the cables to bind. Its an easy fix laying on your back on the floor and positioning them vertically to stop the binding and tighten back up.

The slide on my 2013 bullet 246rbs has a manual releases procedure on the outside of the camper slide and then I'm suppose to be able to push the slide in by hand. Check your owners manual for the particular slide of your rig.
