Smile Hello from Mississippi

Hey guys, New to the Forum and Keystone. We have been camping for about 10yrs in a Prowler 830y TT. Just pulled the trigger on a new 2014 Montana High Country 318RE. Will be picking her up on 05/23/13. Never pulled a 5th wheel before but looking forward to it!! Looks like this is the place to be for any Montana questions.

again from Michigan, I'm sure you're going to find some amazing advancements in RV's from your Prowler to the Montana. Hopefully most are for the better LOL

Since it's been a while from your last purchase, you might want to go to the "general questions" section and there you'll find the first post to include a Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) checklist. If you download it and review it (at least) and/or take it with you when you pick up your new Montana, it will certainly help guide you through all the "new stuff" you'll find during that dealer orientation. Remember, once you tow it off the lot, it's often a hassle to return it for service. Anything you can identify that day, hopefully the dealer will be able to repair "on the spot" and when you tow it home you won't have to tow it back

Hello from Helena, Alabama

We won't be Keystone-ers for a month and a half yet, but thought we would get our forum feet wet. We just ordered a Montana High Country 318RE with everything and retired our 2011 Kodiak 290BHSL bought new in late 2010. Momma wanted more seating for socializing and less bunks for sleeping. She says there will be plenty of floor space for that. Prior to the Kodiak, we purchased a new 2008 Trailmanor 3124KB in mid 2010. Momma loved it, but that 3 foot climb into bed, and the 3 foot fall out of bed, meant the quick demise of the Trailmanor. Three new trailers and three used tow vehicles(Trailblazer-to-Suburban-to-Silverado 2500HD gasser) in three years...I need a break! At least I broke even on all purchases! Prior to the last three years, I began camping with my parents at age 16, starting with a 21 foot TT, a 32 foot TT, a 32 foot Class C, a Hol-Ramb Class A, and then back to a Class C. I think there was another trailer in there somewhere. Health problems caused the retirement of the last Class C, so my parents go with us now. They don't even know we traded the Kodiak or the pending delivery of the Montana! Kathy was a newbe until we started camping. Anyway, 'nuff said already. Looking forward to being a Keystone-er! As our local Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram dealer's saying goes, "We'll see you down the road!"
