2013 has 18K on it so I guess I have a way to go before trading it in. May need to take some years off my age to appreciate how long it will last

Not sure how you guys do it! Bought the F350 new last December. Today it went past 31,000 miles. But we do hook up the 5er and travel often. In 3 years it will be out of warranty and another new one will be bought before it turns 4. If I'm able that is as I'm 69 now.

I bought my 2007 Chevy 3500HD DRW diesel in early 2015 with 78000 miles. Truck was in very good shape and well maintained. My plan is to drive this truck as long as I can fix it. It just crossed over 100K so I am expecting many, many more years and miles. When my truck gives out, I'll probably sell the filth wheel and find a used class A. To the OP, find a truck that has everything you need and go for it. I personally don't think dragging a 5ver around with a brand new truck (not broken in) is the best plan. If your not in a huge hurry save your money and then find a nice used truck when you are ready to full time. Put the money you save into your travel pot and have fun. Good luck, safe travels.
