Desert dog checking in

Hello all!

I should be taking possession of a new (2017 leftover) 31BKPR Premier later this week.

I have been browsing the site and I have learned a lot already. I will try to figure follow up with some pictures when I take possession.

Happy to be a part of the group!

Mike

Mike, welcome to the group and congrats on the new trailer. You may already know this but I thought I'd make mention of the aging tires on your 2017 coach. There may be a chance that this unit was build in late 2016, making it nearly 2 years old at the time of delivery. The tires could be even older as it sat idle for these years. Check the "born-on" DOT date to confirm. If they're pushing 3 years old, I would see if you could negotiate new tires (or even a credit towards the purchase of new tires) as we know that both quality and reserve capacity are severely lacking in the OEM fitments. It's worth a try.

Good luck and again, congrats!

The tire issue crossed my mind when first looking at the unit, but I appreciate the reminder. Doesn't hurt to try and negotiate a deal there also.

Thanks again!
