I'm considering the logistics of trading myself. I know if I just trade it to a dealer it will be a financial bloodbath. I'm thinking maybe next spring putting it on PPL consignment lot. Been looking at travel trailers. DW is having leg issues climbing the 5th stairs. There seems to be decent prices on older new models out there.

Fast forward to today. We are a Grand Designs dealer and I get a nice discount, SO the DW and her sister came into the dealership and we looked at a 2017 Reflection 27RL, ran the numbers and decided we didn't like it that much!!
So you all are stuck with me for the duration, besides how wood it look for a Keystone moderator to have a Grand Designs trailer. Now to do something about that worthless A/C unit on the roof, I am already working on it.

You have talked about the GD in the past. My guess is you have put off the inevitable for just a little longer. I talked myself out of a Montana last year --- pick it up Monday. Now payoff is a year farther away.

Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy a more comfortable situation which leads to more enjoyment. Wait, are enjoyment and happiness synonymous? I guess money can buy happiness.

I keep putting off my "retirement" too. The decision not to buy means that is closer.

What is retirement? I've been retired for 2.5 years and keep going back to work for some reason. Maybe it's the 3 crumb snatches that still live at home. Of course one goes off to college this fall so I'm getting closer to being able to do something other than stay home or work. 3 years to go before the youngest is gone, maybe then I will officially retire.

I retired at 55 in 2003. Had a real estate broker license in 2 states after that for something to do. Did not have time to use the licenses. Sometimes I think we travel too much, but that is not possible.

Chuckster, i think you'll be impressed with the 15k A/C. My 314FWRLS has the 15k and at 80* outside it will do the trick to cool things down. It is a Coleman-Mach 48204C866. Maybe take a glance at it on Coleman's website. Think they said its their highest cooling output a/c. Another idea are some vent insulators. Cheap "pillow like" insulation that you stuff into your roof vents to keep the heat/cool in. I found mine on amazon for a good deal.

Vent cushions since 1997, yeah they do the trick for sure.

35 years in one spot until retirement at 58 in 2008, I think it was. Then 5 years working for them contract all over the U.S.
One day I think TT, then no a Class C, then a used diesel pusher, then maybe nothing, or keep what we have.

Yeah when I PDI a Tiffen Allegro Bus, I think "sure would be nice". 5 TV's no propane, heated floors, 4 slideouts, I remind myself its $375,000.00 that's 3X what my house cost.
