Use two wrenches. One on that “nut” on the feed line, and another on the regulator. You should be able to use a wrench on the square part of the regulator just above where your attaching the hose. Take it good and tight.
Once your done, hook it up to the cylinder, turn it on and spray the connection with soapy water. If it bubbles, you don’t have it tight enough.
