Hello From IL -1st time Travel Trailer

Husband and I just brought home our 1st travel trailer 2016 Keystone Passport 2400BH (moving on from our pop up which I'm a little sad to see go)! Fingers crossed that we made a good purchase and so excited to get out and make some great family memories!

Welcome. We too purchased our first TT a Keystone 2500 RL.
We are on a road trip from Michigan to New Mexico. And we are loving it.[emoji3]

Staying at Walmart’s for travel nights and RV parks when at a destination .

Good luck and safe journeys

Welcome to the forum! I think that once you start using the travel trailer the pop up will no longer be missed (that was our feeling)!

Greetings and Welcome

Welcome to the group!

We loved our pop-ups too, with it really is a different style of camping with a trailer.

Mostly just nice to have fewer tasks on setup. Biggest change will be having some indoor space, you probably won't use it at first, with as you grow using the trailer you'll just spend where you enjoy your time.

We were confirmed Pop-Up campers until we moved to a 29-foot travel trailer this fall. I miss sleeping with just the screens, but otherwise everything about the TT is great!

Hi VickiT. We are outside of Chicago as well and just bought a 2400bh from GeneralRV. Still have a nice hybrid in storage we will sell when we can get it out in the spring. We thought 2400 was perfect as well. Look forward to comparing notes. We added the rear camera and tongue jack before we picked it up. Anxious already and winter just started.

Update: Added a 32" TV on the bedroom wall and added Bedlift Kit. Now need battery disconnect switch. Visited Kohler Andres State Park in WI this week and booked site for July. Already booked for June a great spot in Watertown WI - RiverbendRV. Patiently waiting for warmer weather.

Welcome, we bought a 2017 2400bh back in June 2017, smoking deal cuz was one of first on lot in 2016, but needed a lot of warranty work. It took the dealership almost 6 months to complete the work, between us taking it back for camping trips in between waiting for parts. Other than that, couldn’t be happier with it. Biggest upgrade so far has been replacing cheap factory mattress with a foam mattress. I still have some time before summer to get some mods in

Thank you all! Was a little disheartened the other weekend when we went to go visit our camper in storage and saw that the antifreeze had leaked out all underneath the kitchen sink! I'm hoping this is nothing major but I contacted the place where we had it winterize they said it sounded like maybe something cracked! I'm so very disappointed and hoping this gets resolved because I really want to get out there and start camping as soon as the weather breaks. So sad that it may be broken before we ever had a chance to use it.

Maybe it will be something simple. Get it back in to the dealer as soon as you can get an appointment. May minimize the impact on your camping season.

It shouldn't have cracked if winterized correctly. It could have been cracked before the winterized and that's a different thing. Keep in mind, it can be fixed. Also, we're here to help any way we can.
