You won't be disappointed. Gobs of torque. I'm on my 4th and loved every one of them.

Load that Cummins up ASAP. Owners manual says it breaks in better under a load.
Put some of that fine Rotella in it and you're good to go.

Not so fast, drive that baby empty for 500 miles per the manual to break the rear end in, then drive it like you stole it and get her good and hot pulling a good load and let er eat!

Got my first 2500 in 2007.5 I was one of the first one to try the 6.7, great engine with lots of power and lots of torque. I pulled a 31 ft TT from Illinois to Wyoming, Canada, South Dakota, Vermont, North and South Carolina's,Georgia Florida, Alabama and a lot more. Went to Cincinnati Ohio in April and picked up my First FW. The truck is a beast. In November my DW allowed me to update to a 2017 DRW Ram and like you I can't wait to hitch up and go. Congrats on your new TV you will feel the power of the 6.7

Congrats neighbor, still on first diesel. Bought new 10.25 years ago, 186,000 miles and rolling. Lead to a Kubota diesel tractor and loving it.

All I could find was in the gas engine manual that said drive moderately for 300 miles.
Your 500 miles sounds good and I went about double that myself.
I assumed the poster was waiting until March to tow for break-in.

Like everyone who has one, we love ours; 2016 DRW 3500. You didn't say; hope you got the Aisan tranmission. It's the real deal also.

I had a 2008 Ram diesel until I was hit in the rear end and truck was totaled, Now I have a 2016 Ram 350 Diesel and really enjoy it.
