mijones,
to the forum and to Keystone RVing. Pull up a keyboard and start looking around, there is a volume of hints, tricks and suggestions about RVing and particularly about fifth wheel RVing. Use the search feature found in the top blue bar on every page to find any particular information you may be looking for.
We're happy you joined our group and look forward to hearing about your new fifth wheel and your travels in it.
John

Welcome mijones & congrats on your new Cougar HC.
You'll enjoy towing a 5th wheel. First tip: swing wide when turning, until you learn the difference in the way it tracks behind the truck.
2nd hint: remember the height will be over 12 ft now... be aware of tree limbs/branches and building overhangs, etc, etc.
Next suggestion... Have FUN!!

For the most part all are tall enough to get into,But you need to be aware of it for when you are in the back country and all you can find is the local mom and pop station thats were it gets tricky. And if you get the 5th wheel with the level up system (auto levelers) on it make sure when you unhook, you pull up some to clear the trailer because ours when you push the auto level button the front dropps down before it levels itself and it will hit your truck bed.
