Is this a issue with roof?

Packing up from weekend trip and when I close my two front slides on my Cougar 367FLS decided to look on top of slides and this is what I saw. Looks like bubbles on roof of slide. Pics are of each slide. I am assuming this can’t be good. Is this a issue or is this normal.

Gear box is leaking

The gear box is leaking. Extensive discussion of the issue over on the Montana Owners Forum. Search for the thread “Collecting data on new high country”. I believe Keystones fix is a drip pan.

Beginning to think I bought trouble. Fridge and now this. Might have wished I kept my Mallard travel trailer. Had it couple of years and never had a minutes problem with it.[emoji853]

Well I finally got this documented with Camping World. I take it in on November 23. I have a trip planned for this weekend and a 4 night trip in early November. They said I could use it until I bring it to them. I asked what happens if opening or closing slide tears bubbles. They said use Dicor Roof Tape. Does someone have a picture of what I need in case of tear. I would rather have some tape just in case. As long as bubble is not torn, will roof leak if it rains? Calling for a chance of rain this weekend on trip. Chuckster57 is there anything else I can do or need to plan on?

Yes, the slide mechanism gearbox is leaking. I don't know what the dealer plans on doing. If they replace the gearbox, there is no guarantee the replacement gearbox won't leak. It is my experience that these gearboxes all seem to "sweat" or seep a little oil. The slide gearboxes on our Cougar seeped oil onto the underbelly and the landing gear gearboxes showed signs of a film of oil on the sides below the seam in the casting.
The cable slide gearboxes on our Laredo seep a little oil as well. The TPO roof membrane below where the oil is present is bubbled up, albeit not as bad as in your photos. As I posted in another thread: Clean the roof thoroughly with Dawn. Clean all of the oil from the outside of the gearbox. Take an aluminum foil miniature loaf pan (or something similar) and fit it around the bottom portion of the gearbox and secure with a zip tie. Solved the problem for us. I will cover the bubbled TPO with Eternabond or something equivalent.

2018 cougar fifth wheel, same issue. Dealer is replacing the roof and slide motor.
Eternbond tape would be a good temporary repair.
