You are right in that the Sprinter is an entry model which may not have some of the "extras" found in some of the higher-priced units. The upholstery, microwave, etc., may not be quite as "luxurious" but the build quality is the same. In that respect, your unit won't be any more inferior than any of the other models.
When doing the PDI walk-through, take your time, ask lots of questions and find out how everything works. Not just find out - see it work. Find out where the water pump is, how to winterize your RV, have water in the system so that you can see that everything works - the toilet, HW tank and so on. If you find something that isn't working, get it repaired at the dealership before driving away - if you can arrange that. Make sure that everything works and you know where all the pull valves are, the converter, fuses, etc ---everything you can think of.
Don't be rushed -- the dealer is getting paid for the PDI and he should have carried out his own PDI before handing it over to you.
Some dealers allow you to camp on their lot for a night or will direct you to a nearby campsite so you can try all of the systems yourself.
Hope this helps - good luck and welcome to the forum.
