Sprinter 333fwfls picking up this week

After researching and looking at more fifth wheels then I can count we decided on the front living unit. I've got the checklist for the dpi but still worried as this is the first new camper we have purchased any other tips would be appreciated very much! Seems the sprinter is lower in the keystone line up and it makes me nervous but the dealer is selling at 31000 out the door this deal seems to good to pass up?

You are right in that the Sprinter is an entry model which may not have some of the "extras" found in some of the higher-priced units. The upholstery, microwave, etc., may not be quite as "luxurious" but the build quality is the same. In that respect, your unit won't be any more inferior than any of the other models.

When doing the PDI walk-through, take your time, ask lots of questions and find out how everything works. Not just find out - see it work. Find out where the water pump is, how to winterize your RV, have water in the system so that you can see that everything works - the toilet, HW tank and so on. If you find something that isn't working, get it repaired at the dealership before driving away - if you can arrange that. Make sure that everything works and you know where all the pull valves are, the converter, fuses, etc ---everything you can think of.

Don't be rushed -- the dealer is getting paid for the PDI and he should have carried out his own PDI before handing it over to you.

Some dealers allow you to camp on their lot for a night or will direct you to a nearby campsite so you can try all of the systems yourself.

Hope this helps - good luck and welcome to the forum.

As Festus says take your time do a long slow walk around check all of the exterior for damage cracks etc. don't forget to look at the roof, check that all the options work.

Congratulations enjoy the new trailer

congratulations on the new 5er . we just purchased a 2013 Copper Canyon Sprinter . it is the 269FWRLS model . like you said it is their entry model, but you are going camping . our dealer always orders his with all the options . we have an electric fireplace , wire for a second AC if needed . all of the chairs and sofa our of a leather style . we also have a ceiling fan. the shower is one of the selling points . it is a very huge stall with grab bar and a seat to sit on for people who have trouble standing . hope you enjoy your new unit . we enjoy ours
