Replace slide out floor
Looks like I am going to be replacing the floor on at least 1 of my slide outs. I have a 2009 Keystone Montana, 10th Anniversary edition. Its the slide that has the sofa and diningroom table and chairs. The slide is 14'long and about 4'wide. Does anyone know where i can get a detailed discription on what I need to do to do this myself? Info. about me and it: I bought it in Oct. last year from an RV sells place but they are not looking to stand behind it because it was sold on consignment. (Stupid me). Oh well, i own it and wife and I live in it full time. We really like the floor plan and storage it has. I will need to replace it. I'm not sure if it is plywood or compressed board yet, any ideas? Being it's 14' long i do not know where to buy a single sheet that is 14'long, any ideas? Any help you can give me in replacing this would be appriciated. I do have my brother in law to help me and he is an amazing carpenter and from what i seen, can do almost everything. Being we live in it full time, i don't want to take weeks to fix it and I'm trying to get all the information I can ahead of time.

What damage are you facing? Is it possible to resurface the floor by placing 1/4" or even 3/4" marine grade plywood over the existing damage? If it's only the floor, not the attachment to sidewalls, etc, possibly a complete replacement isn't needed. Any pictures or further explanation of what damage you have would help.

I replaced the bedroom slide out floor on my 2009 Raptor. There were two YouTube videos that helped me a lot.
My failed floor was chipboard, but I replaced it with plywood.
In your case, with the much bigger floor, it might make sense to order a factory replacement from a local keystone dealer to make certain that it is the correct dimensions.
Edited to add that the google search mentioned above should find the two videos that I found helpful.

Whatever's under it, be it chipped wood, pressed wood etc. it will probably be something cheap. All of the above disintegrate when exposed to water. Use marine grade plywood to make it as tough as possible - IMO.

Replacing a slide floor is a daunting task to say the least. You will need a shop big enough to house the trailer and the slide laying on its side.
We did a 12' slide floor and it took a forklift, and 6 people to get it out. And then another maneuver to lay it over.
If the floor really needs replacing, I would get bids from RV repair facilities. The slide itself even with all the interior stuff out of it will be extremely heavy and awkward to maneuver.
