Sleep
Just bought New 2014 Cougar 327 going to pickup in a couple weeks, was looking at the invoice, and it has the camping package which has the Comfort Camp III Pillowtop Mattress. Does anyone have this cause i never laid on the bed. Is this mattress any good,we have been looking at a nice mattress to replace it, thinking most trailers have crappy bed mattress? What does anyone think?

Mattresses are very "personally subjective" when it comes to comfort. What one person likes another will potentially hate. What one person claims is too firm another will complain is too soft. About the only thing you can do is sleep on it, see if you like it, if so, go camping, if not, look for a replacement that you do find comfortable.
In recent years Cougar has been using mattresses that seem to be higher quality than in past years. You may find that you're satisfied. I wouldn't discount the mattress based on what you've "heard from other users" as that may not be the same as your assessment.
Good Luck

Mattress for your RV
For one RV we've bought, after we bought it, we've went and bought a new mattress cause the standard one was terrible. Even kept it with the permission of the dealer, swapping it when we traded up for a larger TT. When we bought our Cougar, the dealer had upgraded the mattress, because they felt everyone would want the better than those standard ones which are usually were the terrible 4" foam pads.
Sounds like your dealer did too - We like ours, which is probably a first for a RV mattress, at least in our price range.

Everyone seems to think the mattress in our particular camper Is horrible - we love it. It's firm, but that's fine. Wait and see before you purchase a new one.

Sleep on it before you do anything. John is right about Keystone upgrading mattresses. Like you I was already looking for a mattress when we bought our new camper but after sleeping on it for a month I decided it was just fine. Far better than what I am used to seeing in an RV.

We bought a 2" topper for ours and we love the RV mattress with it. Ours is a Sharper Image brand. No odor. We let it air out a few days before we put it in the RV anyway. Some brands have an odor that never goes away. I've seen posts by some people saying they can't get the STINK out of their RV.

The mattress in our Cougar is much better (to me) then the one that was in our passport but we still added a 4inch memory foam. I like a super soft bed. Like John said, try it out first. If you don't need a different one that's money saved for more camping.

Costco Topper
I have a 2014 327RES and bought a gel memory foam topper at Costco. It works great and I sleep as well in my Fiver as I do at home. My two cents...save your money until you try a memory foam topper.

Like our mattress!
Try it first; but we put 1/2" plywood under our mattress and a 1 1/2" thick memory foam pad on top before we were satisfied with it. Now it sleeps great.
It's often not the mattress but the way it's not supported that causes the issues.

Ours had that same package and the mattress sucks! We replaced it with a Serta home unit pillow top and it's way better. The mattress guy gave us a storage bag for the factory mattress to put back if we ever trade up.

Our 2011 Montana had a great mattress. It had a pillow top, and oddly enough, had the name Keystone imprinted all over it. We kept that one, until we sold the unit. The new 2014 came with a HIDEOUS mattress. It squeaked, sagged, and was terribly uncomfortable. Don't know what happened between 2011 and 2014, but it was definitely not good. So, we bought a "ParkLane" memory foam RV mattress to replace it. Very comfortable, and a great night's sleep. Life (sleep) is now good.
