Popping noise when leveling 199ML

My 199ML sat on the lot for a year before I purchased it. The dealer supposedly went over everything to ensure it was good as new and hooked it to my truck.

Now that I am away from the noisy dealership, I've noticed when raising and lowering the jack, the dual-axle suspension pops. Is this normal? Did the dealership miss lubing something they should have?

Some noise is normal, a pop can be a lot things. You may want to crawl under it to watch listen while someone else raises it to narrow down where it coming from and what is causing the noise. May be nothing but should look closer.

I had the same problem. Turns out it was just DW popping a beer (she loves my driving - not) . It might be good to have someone walk along as you tow slowly to see if it happens more than just when leveling. I was told about an axle noise as I pulled into a CG a couple of weeks ago. Will check this weekend with DW walking along side.

Make sure trailer is well chocked before you go under it!

My old camper did not have Keystone's wife set axels. Sometimes I would get ahead of myself and put BAL X-Chocks in before leveling front to rear. I would hear a bunch of creaking in that situation.

It is very likely the stock bushings on the shackels. The fix for that is a wet bolt kit.
