My set up for garage patio

I used 2 SS 3/8 straps and a cat lifting rings . My cables are 5/16 coated . The ends are crimped and filled with lead . This is my second door I felt comfortable setting up a patio Click image for larger version

That looks great.
Can you post a couple of pictures showing where the cables mount to the frame of the RV?

The cable ends look good, as do the permanent attachment points on the door frame, but if I remember correctly, the Safeland Spring Snap Hooks are only rated for about 200 pounds each, so you might want to double check their rated capacity to make sure they don't bend open with 4 or 5 people on your rear door when it's in the "patio position" !!!

Those bolt all the way through on the outside of the door? Do anything to determine placement on the door?

Your right on the ends . Curt has ends similar in 3,1/2 inch that are rated for 2000 lbs each for safety chain towing.

ID:	10632 It looks like the weak point is the thin gusset bracing at the top. Are the other toy haulers like that? the S ring is for trailer chains and Ill get and bend those in my vice for the other ends . I didn't like the snap rings because they're a bit of a hassle to secure to the ring.

It's still working flawlessly. Pre made cables would have been assuming they figured lenigh of cables to the leval to the rv.

I thought the ramps on the no-patio units were too thin to use as patios?
