Bunk rail added

Well the boys were worried about falling off the top bunk so... I added a rail to keep them up there.

Nice looking job can the bunk still go all the way up if so I might have to do this sice I have a four year old and he wants to sleep in top bunk this season

Yes it about 1/4" from the a/c unit. I built it out of pecan... It's what we had. I used a piece of 1 1/2" angle to mount it to. Bolted the angle to bunk then bolted the the rail to it. Also shot some screw at the bottom of rail in to the bed frame. Very solid. I'm gonna cut the ladder off so it doesn't stick up so far so it's easier for them to get down.

The pics I took look a little rounded that's why the bottom couch/bed looks to be sagging. I did a pano pic to get the whole rail in the frame.

Hi, looks great.
Can you please describe in more detail how you did this? What did you attach the rail to? Screw lengths? More pics from the back?

I have a 31 bhpr and the outdoor kitchen is below the top bunk, I'm worried about screwing the metal bracket (through the floor) to far.
