Farewell To The Keystone Forum

For the past few months my DW & I have been searching for a another TT or 5th Wheel that met our needs more specifically than the Laredo. Closet space & elbow room was the issue. We both like a TT over a 5er, even though that is not the norm but for us it was a better fit, but almost decided that the TT we wanted was not out there untill in one of the later issue of Trailer Life, CruiserRV displayed it's 35ft9in 2013 Enterra 314RES. We now own that Trailer. This forum has been very inlighting for me, learned alot, had a few spirited exchanges & hopefully maybe someone learned something from me. Thanks for the ride & be safe down the road!

Wow, that sure looks like a nice trailer. And still less than 10,000 lbs gross. Let the fun continue!

Joe & Carolyn, I guess I will have to look for your new Enterra behind your GMC when I am in your neck of the woods. There is no reason you have to leave us, you will always be welcome here. Even if you just "Lurk" as some members have put it. Good luck with your new trailer, travel safely and maybe we'll run into each other at Sharky's or Pelican Alley. Cheers, Hank

Ok Hank & Hank, I"ll keep looking in on you guys & maybe even post once in a while, I've yet to find any forum with this level of information for a product brand. Very happy with the new TT, picked it up at Holman RV in Ohio, spent 3 nights onsite to shake out any bugs, now in St Louis, MO. for a week visiting daughter & family. Thanks for all the good wishes!

The profile picture is the only one I've got as the TT in now in storage for a couple months untill our summer trip up to Buffalo & on to Lake Placid, NY visiting family & friends. Our trip up to Holman's in Ohio was a great experience. We got there on a friday afternoon, did the PDI, they inspected the Laredo (trade in), completed the paper work by late afternoon. They connected us up with water & electric & we spent the week end there, leaving monday AM for St. Louis. When returning to FL the water pump failed but we had city water at the campgrounds along the way, other than that & a small water leak that was immediately repaired all went well. As with all new rigs the initial bugs are part of the experience & you learn to except it, as this is my 5th new RV & everyone had some initial problems. Anyways, the 3 slides make a big difference as do the large closet & chest of drawers. My DW is also very pleased with the kitchen layout & of course the electric fireplace which BTW does have a fan & blows out a good amount of warmth. If anyone's in the market for a good Laredo 297RL my 2011 is sitting up at Holman's, I believe there asking under $19K for it, and it's in perfect condition. Keep safe my friends..................Joe

PS: Looks like the profile pic did not change....
