Happi jack bed proper position when moving

Should lower bed in my toy hauler be in the up position or down to the side walls when traveling?

I have done it both ways. I only put the lower bed against the side walls if I need the headroom for the toys that have roll bars. Never had an issue doing either way.

Leave mine at the top all the time unless needed and never hade any problems.

I had a sticker in the garage on mine that said to only travel with the bed in the upper position.

I’ve traveled with mine in both positions. If hanging vertical then make sure to pin them to prevent swinging.

It depends on your load. If you require the extra width but not the height then you can travel with them swung up. However, if you require the extra height but will not require the width then you can travel with them swung down. In either case, the travel position is with both beds motored to the top of the track.

Me personally, I have always travelled with them motored all the way up and in the swung up position to keep the windows unubstructed.
