Roof walkin

Just bought a new Outback and wanna put rain covers over the roof vents. It doesn't have a ladder so is it ok to walk on the roof?

Maybe, but most likely not. Be safe and put down foam board or something to spread out your weight. Stay in the rafters as much as possible.

I think you should be safe with soft sole shoes. Unlike the Bullet and Passport brands which are built with 1/4" decking materials, your Outback is constructed with 3/8" thick boards over trusses spaced 16" apart. You can use 2" foam boards (cut to manageable sizes - 2'x4') to span across the trusses if you want to disperse the weight. But I honestly don't think that's needed on your coach.

REMEMBER: What's "safe to walk on" for a 5'10" 155 pound man is not quite the same with a 6'3" 300 pounder..... So be sure to factor "your body habitus" into the final decision !!!!!
