Congratulations, to you & the misses too!!
Getting an RV is always so much fun!! Being from SC you may be able to squeeze in a few trips before the weather gets ugly. Camping in late fall/early winter is great too... <think: camp fires & s'mores>... plus, you can test the A/C during the day & the heater at night.
Take your first trip close to home, if possible, just in case you've forgotten anything important... and don't forget a paper pad & pen to make a list of things you'll need! Maybe go to a full hook-up park, so you can practice using everything! Yes, you'll have a blast getting ready, and you'll probably load that trailer with 'one of everything'... and then, about a year from now, you remove 'the unnecessary stuff' - like we all do! <LOL> Most of all, have FUN, that's what it's all about... and even when you make a mistake or goof up, rest assured that someone else has already 'been there, done that' too!!
