Hobbi Toy Hauler 26

Hi, I am new to rving/camping. I am looking to buy a 2007 Hobbi Toy Hauler 26ft. Please let me know if you have experience with this trailer; good or bad. I am a veteran looking to do some traveling with my Kayak. Thanks for your help......
Have a good one.....

The Hobbi is an orphan trailer (no longer made), so there may not be many member/owners here to answer
specific questions & compare notes with. Hopefully some of the toy hauler owners can offer general info.

As with any pre-owned trailer, check for any signs of prior leaks or damage. Look for soft spots in the floor
(& especially at the corners), discoloration under windows, and on the walls & ceiling. Check the roof and check
the tires!! If the tires are original, they could be as much as 6 yrs old... that's not good!

Here's some info which might be helpful -

There was a refrig recall (repair) notice during that time too.

Hope this helps... and thank you for your service.

I have a 2007 Hobbi220 that we have owned for 3+ years. It is a great little camper that we use quite a bit locally and have pulled it to Sturgis 3 times now. The Sturgis trips have seen the camper loaded down with 2 HD dressers and all of the wives clothes...I have not had any significant issues with the unit, but I am starting to see small things that I consider wear out items. Went to repack the wheel bearings this year before Sturgis and ended up replacing all of the brakes as well. I have seen several of these units that have delimination issues in the front curved wall, and when I considered trading it in earlier this year on a Raptor, that was one of the questions the dealer asked me about was the front part of the camper.
It has been a great rig and has plenty of room for the wife and myself, but kids and dogs make it crowded in a hurry. Pulled well with my 05 Tahoe, but the 08 Duramax barely knows it is there. My opinion, a great unit.
