3150RL Owners

We've decided on a 3150RL as our first 5ver...only took 4 years getting to this point. Now the search and decision on new or used begins.

I'd like to hear from those on the forum who own this model, why you chose it and what truck and hitch you tow with.

Thanks,
Bill

We bought our 3150RL one year ago. Have taken several short trips. We enjoy the rear living and the seperate toilet area. Although my wife and I have long legs and have discovered a shortage of leg room with the door closed.

We tow with 2012 F250 6.7l with air bags and 16k Reese slider. Have not used slide feature due to the extended turn tech.

Hope this helps

My wife and I purchased our 3150RL 10/14/10 at a camper show. We like the
layout. It came with the king size bed, we would much rather had the queen
size. That would give a little more room between the bed and the closet.

3150

Have a 3150Rl purchased February 2012. We are satisfied with our trailer, stays warmer inside than previous SOB and love the layout. Warranty work has been disappointing from techs available in our area. Four months to get very small items corrected when first taken in. Norcold freezer has never worked properly in our opinion after several attempts from Norcold to correct they are saying this is the way it is.. Please see pics at this site, https://plus.google.com/photos/11255...75865090776753 so check it out before bringing it home. I think you will be happy with this model...

Red face 3150RL enthusiast

We bought a new 3150RL in Oct. 2010 after much Internet research for our first 5th wheel. We take several long trips each year and are just about to put it in storage for this year. We love it. Only problem was getting hot water via power rather than propane. Got that fixed. We love the layout, the decor, the ease of towing, the exterior presentation and the roominess for the two of us. When we upgrade, we already know we will stick with the Montana-- probably the 3400 RL model. Hope you enjoy yours.
