Eden heater with fan

Have any of you used a Eden pure heater with the furnace turn on for back up?

You can do that, but realize that unless the furnace actually turns on and blows heat, your underbelly will not get the benefit of any heat from that "advertised 2" ducting" that is supposed to keep the FW tank and the black/gray tanks from freezing.

As long as the electric heater (of any type) is used and the furnace is only on "standby" no heat is provided below the floor.

Nope. The furnace fan only runs when the furnace is in the ignition sequence and when actually producing heat. Otherwise, it's off. As loud as most furnace fans are, you really don't want it on unless it's necessary.

I use one very regularly and love it. It heats well and saves my gas. John is correct though, if temperatures are freezing, you will not get any heat in your underbelly.
