Just purchased new 2012 Passport 3220BH

Hello, I just upgraded from a 16 foot KZ hybrid to this beast! With two large dogs and a walking baby, I needed the extra space. Love the layout and space with the two slides. Tows easy and can't wait to use it.

Great to hear. As u we just bought a 2013 last november for the same reasons expanding family moved up from a shamrock 21 ss hybrid. The 3220 towed better and got 1.2 mpg better on our way home with it.
What are u towing with i am towing with a 2003 f150 super crew 5.4 4x4 3.73 gears

2008 Lincoln Navigator with tow package and I use the Reese dual cam sway; all my trips are within 200 miles from home, more of just a weekend camper.

We pull our Passport 3180RE with a 2003 F150 Supercrew Lariat, 5.4,4x4, 3.73 gears. I just don't get in any big hurrys. Does pretty good. We usually don't go more than a 100 miles or less from home though. Have you had any problems with exhaust leaks?

No problems with exhaust leaks at all; been a real good truck so far, still under Lincoln's 70K mile warranty so I will have it looked over before the warranty expires...6 speed transmission is great for towing...I'm never in a hurry when on vacation.

GREAT choice in TT!
We haven't used ours yet but are REALLY looking forward to it.

@ Mike&Jenny, and robo; are your trucks short bed, like ours? I towed our TT only once out to winter storage on a windy day and the sway concerned me so bad I bought the Reese DCSC but haven't installed it yet. According to some, a short bed 1/2 ton is too short to pull this much TT...

Yes, ours is a short bed (5.5'). Pulls pretty good. I have the equalizer hitch which means four points of sway control. Truck sags a little in the rear. I need to see if I can adjust that. We tend to pack a little more than we really need. Wish the TT had a rack in back for bikes. Scared to add one to the bumper that it might break the welds.

almost bought that same trailer. Couldn't bring myself to pull at 35' trailer with a short box 1/2 ton truck. Not to mention, there is no way to make it "legal" on weight and I pull with an '08 Ram 1500 quad cab / hemi / 3.92 axles.

Decided to go with the 2920bh Grand Touring. Was about 600 lbs lighter empty and a few feet shorter overall.

Not if the weather would just warm up and now snow (Thursday supposedly) or rain. I think it has rained here almost every day the month of April.
