Question Washer Dryer

OK, so we are fairly new to this and are planning to take to the snowbird trip to Fla. for four months next year. Our question is about a washer and dryer, has anyone had good luck with the stackable units, ( vented or unvented)? The W&D closet in our 3400RL is fairly small limiting our options to the smaller camper models. We have just retired and are a little nervous about trying to set our fiver up to accomadate our four months away from the homestead. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Bg Red...and I hope that your not a Nebraska fan?

We have a stacked, vented washer/dryer in our unit. We are not full timers, but we have two boys and we enjoy ATV, fishing, hunting, just about anything outdoors. Our previous, bumper pull, we often thought it would be great to have the convienence of our own washing unit. Downside is that your are giving up precious limited storage area, and our answer is we LOVE IT. We have not had any problems associated with the washer/dryer. Its a no-brainer for us.

Washing a couple of loads each night is so easy. Or at least, my wife says so!

Although we have the space for a washer and a dryer, we opt'd to go with a Combo Unit. For the winter in Florida we have a clothes line setup off the back of the rig for drying the clothes. We're have no problems with the combo and used the dryer space to additional storage.

We are new to FW and larger RVs in general. We used to have a pop-up that we loved. We are going to pick up a sprinter CC 324FWBHS this week which has the W/D hookups in the closet. I think that, plus the large shower were the clinchers for that.

All that said, are there special W/D's that are needed, or can we look at small, apartment stack-able units?

If people could put links to which ones they purchased, that'd be great. I'm guessing search will be my friend, but I have so much stuff to read, that is far down the search list

Thanks,
Chris
