RV owners buy their accessories and other parts from a variety of sources. Some look to eBay or Amazon, others to online RV part retailers, and for quick, easy access to a variety of parts and accessories, some go to CW. I think you will find CW the most expensive of the group but they do carry a fairly good selection and are handy to a lot of consumers.
Joining a group like Good Sam does have some advantages - trip planning, Good Sam park discounts, insurance, etc., but better deals can be found elsewhere if you want to look around. Good Sam is convenient in that it offers a variety of services without having to look elsewhere. Convenient but not necessarily the cheapest.
We have a Sticky on the forum developed by SlowPoke, one of our members which contains a checklist of camping supplies and other essential items for the new RV owner.
You can access this information by going to the Prospective Owners Questions section of the forum and look for the Sticky "New RV Owner's Checklist.
Hope this helps you.
