Picking up a 2013 Fuzion 395

Hi everybody, we are picking up the Fuzion 395 on Tuesday and we are very excited, we have been shopping for a year now but we were after a bunk house until the other day a guy asked if we thought about a toy hauler and after thinking about all the different things you can do with them we are now hooked. So I just have a few questions on how everybody likes their Fuzions, any common problems with them that I need to pay attention to, how do they tow, general maintaince and anything else you would like to share. Thanks in advance.

We have a 2012 fuzion 310 toy hauler have had it for 3 months and have put about 1,800 miles on it so far so good.

We tow it with a 2010 dodge 3500 and it tows nice I keep the speed around 65 mph and so far no problem

After we loaded up we stopped at the cat scales and here is the weights
Steer axle 5,100 Drive axle 6,440 Trailer axle 11,700

Gross weight 23,240

We did install air bags in the truck and it made a diff in the ride of the truck.
Good luck with your new toy hauler and post pics when you get it.

Ron.

We have a 2010 Fuzion 383 Touring Edition 11 and love it. Pulled it 20,000 miles since June of last year including a trip to Alaska last year. No major problems so far just a bad awning motor and a bad motor in the rear landing gear but all repaired under warranty. We just had the Level up system installed at Lippert yesterday a little pricey but sure is nice we took a factory tour of the Fuzion plant real interesting and now I know how they are put together. Good luck with the new coach and happy camping.

Sweet, glad you guys are liking the Fuzion we are very excited to pick it up on Tuesday, and we are going camping next weekend. I just bought a Duramax one ton dually a couple of weeks ago in preperation of the new toy, do you think I will also need air bags? I believe the empty weight is just shy of 14k so I figure about 16k loaded to our liking.

I'd wait and see how it sits and how the ride is before I put air bags on. Try it out first. If you like it those $$ could go towards something else.

We have the 3.73

Just got back a week ago from a trip from FL. to NY then to PA then back to FL.

All went good I put the auto trans in 5th gear and stayed about 60 to 65 and the rpms stayed about 2,000 to 2,200. when it was in 6th gear going up the hills it would shift hard and kept looking for a gear so I droped it to 5th and all was good

Great thanks. I have the same thing and was wondering how it would be with a heavy load. Very cool.

Congrats on the new Fuzion. One item I would check are the tires. When I purchased my 2010 Touring Edition II 405 it had Carlisle tires. After a year 4 of the 7 tires went bad with tread separation. Tires were inflated to proper psi and the RV was not overloaded. "E" rated tires on a toyhauler of our size in not enough. Look into "G" rated tires.

Good luck and have fun

100% sure you will not need air bags. I tow my 2011 Fuzion 412 TEIII with a 3500hd dually loaded down and a side xside in the back and it tows great.

We have had our rig about a year and half, close to 15000 miles and just a few minor problems.

Good luck.
