Black water tank problems

I have a 2005 34 foot 5th wheel Challenger. Before I closed my camper for the winter this year my black water tank aquired a leak. Has anyone ever repaired a cracked tank before and if so can you tell me the type of plastic the tank is made from and what you used to repair it with.

Haven't had that problem myself, but I saw a fix for this on the Montana Owners Club forum. Think there's a kit of some sort as cracks in them usually happen near the drain hole as the line isn't supported right causing stress on the tank there.

Here's a couple of places to start you on your search for repair kits:

I've use the Plasti-Mend product for a blank tank (12 inch crack) on a former TT I had. It work great!
