Connecting Jetpack USB-C to Router

We just purchased the new Jetpack 8800L MiFi router from Verizon. Is there a solution to connect a router to it so that we can connect our computers via CAT5? Moda & Cherry

I think the best option would be to bridge the connection (wireless). I have looked at options on my jetpack. It can be done, but most routers need a DD-WRT firmware. Then some of the connection is command line.

Thanks. Our neighbor in a motorhome told us he was able to connect an Apple Airport to his Jetpack and run his computers via CAT5. We’re going to ask him about it when we see him next time.

The Jetpack won't have a driver for the device.

We've got a Jet Pack 7730 (last generation) and it won't connect "mechanically" to anything except a charger. There is a USB port so you can charge a phone through the Jet Pack, but there is no internet plug capability.

I asked about the potential and was told by Verizon that I could purchase a WIFI router/switch to connect via WIFI to the Jet Pack and then use Ethernet cables from the router to the individual devices. We found it's just as easy to use the WIFI and connect wirelessly. YMMV
