2024 passport toilet paper holder

Hey, just picked up my new passport 189rb but I noticed it doesn’t have a toilet paper holder in the bathroom. Is this normal?

Thanks!

Yes. This is absolutely normal. They figure you may want to put one somewhere they wouldn't have or use a floor stand model or something. So, they don't put one in. Also, one more way for them to save money. LOL.

Normal! If they installed one 9 out 10 would not like where they put it, so they they leave it up to the buyer.

When I bought my 2011 Springdale fifth wheel, there was a "kit" under the bathroom vanity. It was a plastic bag with a TP holder, a towel ring and a towel bar complete with mounting screws. They were "THE CHEAPEST WHITE PLASTIC CRAP" that I remember ever seeing. I would NEVER screw that stuff to the walls in my trailer, so that bag got tossed in a storage bin for the next owner. We went to Lowe's and DW bought what she liked, both in style and color.

When I got the "new owner's questionnaire" I expressed my views on their "free stuff"...

In 2013, when we bought our Cougar, there was no "towel kit" under the vanity and nothing was mounted on the walls. Apparently Keystone "got the hint" and stopped spending their "lowest bid money" on crappy plastic junk....

So, no, Keystone does not typically install towel bars or TP holders. If they did, most owners would complain about the incorrect placement and the screw holes left in the wall when they moved the items to "where we wanted them".... The "rest of the owners" would complain about how UGLY the crap was that Keystone installed.....

So, for Keystone, the "win/win option" is to just leave it up to the new owner to chose and install what they want, where they want it.....

I have owned two trailers in the past 12 years.

Forest River product had a paper holder and towel bar (and mounting hardware) in the accessories kit that I received with the trailer. It was up to me to decide if/where I wanted to mount them.

Keystone product came with nothing and they were never mentioned by anyone.

Another cost-cutting feature from Keystone. Eliminate the extra towel holders and TP holders and you send more money to the corporate bottom line.

We use a floor type that gives you the option of moving it where you want. Keeps it out of the way when not being used.

I just set the roll on the bathtub... Not much room in my 210TRS, so that is what works for me.

The last 3 campers we've had, all came with no toilet paper holder installed. They all came with one to hang yourself, wherever you wanted.

Nope, never put them up. Instead, we use a kitchen paper towel roll holder (upright) that we purchased from a festival event from one of those vendors that sold wood craft items. We've been using this is our toilet paper holder ever since. It hold 3 rolls stacked on top of each other.

Since we have a Bidet, we use very little TP now. But TP is used more for blowing noses, catching bleeding scratches, and make-up than for it's original intent.

Funny, our RV came with nothing as well and we used a paper towel holder in the cabinet under the sink for the longest time, never worried about running out with the double stack I just recently installed a matching brushed nickel holder from home depot as order by the wife The walls are thin like 1/4 " so I put a little silicon behind the little bracket and in the screw holes...I'll be rolling it out for the first time soon this long Labor Day weekend in Niagara Falls for four nights including a lot of indulging in different foods

We use this one. It just slips over a cabinet door.
