I'm having a problem with my docking lights and front trailer lights. When I got home from work today, they were on. The outside switch doesn't turn them off. I have also tried my remote. I can't turn them off with it either.

Any ideas?

You've done both of the things that are usually suggested in this situation. Not trying to be a smart aleck, but you're using the right switches?

The switch for the docking lights and the front trailer lights have a switch on the outside front wall of the trailer. It is a big black rocker switch. I don't see any selection on my remote for these lights.

Can't say that I have ever used these lights. Always hooked up in daylight hours. I did turn them on years ago just to see if they worked (used the rocker switch).

Possibly the switch has failed and is shorted through, making the connection so you can't turn it off. Might have to pull the switch to see if it is working properly.

I don't know if this applies in your case, But on my fiver if the docking light is turned on by the remote, the only way to turn it off is with the remote. The rocker switch won't do it.
