Sprinter 334FWFLS

Our front living room Sprinter 334FWFLS is great for long term camping. We were quite surprised the first time we opened both sleeper sofas. I should say, tried to open both. When Keystone upgraded the sofas to be more comfortable for sitting they neglected to foresee the interference fit where they meet when opened. While this is not a deal breaker for us as most trips are just the wife and I, it could be an issue for those with children. Just a word of warning for those looking at this model. If anyone knows of a fix for this please pass along. I don’t see a remedy unless the opposing slides had an additional 6” travel.

Happy camping everyone!

We have the same model and have the same issue. It's also a pain to get the sheets on. We had our shakedown the middle of March at Myrtle Beach, the grandson stayed with us and we had a hard time keeping sheets on the sofa bed. the DW found something called speedy sheets on Amazon we put them on and it appears they will work like a champ. Our shakedown went great, I had to pick up a few things I didn't know we needed, found the vent fan in the bathroom doesn't work and it leaked a little. (trip to camping world) Had to secure a couple pieces of trim that fell off the wall during transit. The televisions didn't work all the time when connected to cable but worked on the antenna. Had a hard time getting the refrigerator running on gas but after much perseverance and 30 minutes it finally lit. This was the first time the DW had ever been camping, it went so good she wanted to extend for a couple of days and she can't wait to hit the road again. We stayed at Pirate Land, campsite was on the beach road overlooking the dunes.
Enjoy your camper, I know we are going to enjoy ours.

I did just send a picture to Keystone showing the interference fit. I will let you know if I hear any positive results. We have had ours out a couple times now. Last trip to Florida panhandle in February. We did have the 5er back for a few adjustments but found no other problems. Happy campers here!

When we were shopping for our 5th wheel last year, we liked the front living and looked at a number of these with that floor plan. We actually talked about this issue with the sales person because we wanted both to open for the grandkids. There were a few models where both open but not many. Most are designed for one or the other including the Sprinter. Ended up not going that route but still like the plan.

We just purchased thus same model. It's my husband, me and two older boys . We bought this model for the open beds that meet in the middle. I hope ours fit or Keystone will be hearing from us. I'm so nervous now. I would like to know if anyone got this fixed....

Mine fit like tpjazz7's

Russ, the picture looks worse than it really is. The TV rides good.

We have same model. They go down together. You can’t have one down and put other down. Won’t work. It’s not that bad

Just went out and tried that in my unit. Yes they will both open if done simultaneously. Makes one wall to wall bed. I guess that would be fun for the younger grandkids but not so sure about teens or young adults. I would think that makes it difficult to make the bed. Anyway, like I said it is not a deal breaker for us. Just wanted others to be aware. Thanks for all the great input!

With the speedy sheets It makes them feel like separate beds and not hard to make.

FYI. Received answer from Keystone. The sofas are adjustable and can be set so that both open easily, fully, and with no interference. I’ll have to let my dealer know next time in. Thanks again everyone.

Sofa Fix

FYI: Keystone states that sofas have an adjustable opening length. Made appointment at dealer to check this and swap out my solid Lippert pin box for a MORryde to help smooth out the ride. 1st trip out this year coming up soon.

Mine is a GMC 2500HD 4X4 CC reg bed 6.6L Duramax. Love pulling the 5er. So much easier than a TT.
