New outback 312 bh

just wanted to say we have purchased a brand new 2013 312BH and are looking forward to many years of enjoyment. This is our 5th RV. We started with a trailer, now we are back with a trailer. Had an Apollo motorhome for the last 8 years. Hated to give it up, but 2 kids and us just don't fit in it good anymore. I have been reading the forum and learned a bunch of things. I have printed out the PDI list as we are doing the walk thru on Wednesday. I will be eagle eyeing EVERYTHING> I see for the most part most are satisfied with their keystone product and that makes me feel a lot better now. I started reading a bunch of stuff about them not honoring the warranty and stuff and thought I bought a POS> Then I found this forum and I felt better... Hope to put in a 32" tv in the front area and figure out to wire for satellite to receive seperate channels at teh different tv's. I will have 1 in back for the kids, 1 in the main room and 1 in our bedroom. I have dish now with the dual boxes so, I was thinking of just using the boxes I have now with the flat cord that goes in the window to run the dish to. I will have to see. Ok, enough of my ramblings..

The PDI should serve you well during your walk-through at the dealership and if you saw the results of the survey of forum members, you will have noted that just over 90% indicated that they would buy another Keystone. That isn't to say that they problem-free but it does indicate that the vast majority of people here are satisfied with whatever Keystone model they purchased.

If you have any specific questions about your TV and satellite reception/hookup, post them in the Technical section of the forum.

As an experienced RVer, feel free to jump in and share your expertise with our members here - veterans and newbies alike.

Welcome.

And enjoy the new Outback. Our 2012 has held up well the first year and we used it for 63 nights last year. the only glitch was a piece of molding that came loose but that was a 30 second fix. Over all we are very happy with it.
