2017 keystone sprinter 252FWRLS

I am looking at buying a 2017 Keystone Sprinter 25FWRLS fifth wheel. The dry wight is 7,950lbs. I have 2015 chevy 2500 gas 6.0L truck with a 3.73 rear end. If I did my research right I believe my truck has a max tow rating of 9,700lbs. Dose anyone have any experience towing with this truck or towing a Sprinter?

My only tow issue is with hills, where I wish I had a diesel. I supplement the truck's tow mode by reprogramming the engine/transmission before each trip with a Flashpaq vehicle performance programmer for it's "tow mode". This mode requires 92 octane fuel. I've read on this forum that the Flashpaq's "performance mode" can also be used, but I have not tried that to see any difference from its "tow mode".

Thanks Don! I am also considering a Cougar Xlite 26rls it is about 1000lbs lighter, do you think that will make a differance or will the truck chevy 2500hd 6.0l gasser still need air bags and a programer?

Do you have any chucking with your anderson hitch? I tested pulled my friends 5er (9200 lbs)with my anderson hitch and could feel the chucking. Do you think air bags would help?
