Hello from Michigan

Hello fellow RVers. We purchased our Cougar 26SAB Xlite 2 years ago after 8 years with a Jayco Eagle 5th Wheel (3 ft. shorter than the Cougar but about the same weight). We have towed both with our 2003 F150 7700 and find that it handles the 5er nicely.

After 17 years in business followed by 25 years teaching at our local College my wife has finally convinced me to pull the plug and retire. Presently we are planning to spent September in Colorado wrapping up the trip in Estes Park at Elk Fest before heading home to Michigan.

JeffS -
17 years in business plus another 25 years teaching ...... that makes 42 years of work!! Your wife is right - it's time for you to retire. Now you'll be able to do some travelling in your RV and see the country. Congratulations on both your retirement and your Cougar. to the forum as well!
