Bed lift #

I have a BHS252 Bullet. I am having a hard time finding out what pound gas assist lifts to install under my bed. It’s an aftermarket queen foam mattress that had come rolled up in plastic. What size/ pound lift would u suggest or do u use

Bedlift kits are sold for RV platform mattresses. Most likely, your Bullet has a small compartment as described in this pdf. Take a look at it. It may help.

I have an open box kit, PM if you are interested.

It's the standard queen size. My mistake could turn into a good deal for you.

With our original inner spring mattress that came with the rig, we had to use a stick to hold up the bed platform. Once we replaced that mattress with a custom made latex foam mattress, no stick is needed as the new mattress is much lighter than the original. You might get lucky and not need different hydraulic struts.

Not hydraulic struts, liquids can not be compresses.

These are commonly called lift supports, lift struts, gas springs, and gas struts.

Thanks for posting the chart, very helpful. Can you tell the source for the parts listed in the chart? Thanks again,

Eric

I don't know where the parts are sourced from but I think the struts are 90 lbs each. The strut hardware can be purchased separately. The brackets are much larger in the kit than what i could find on Amazon.

This video is very detailed with the install: https://youtu.be/rBWVOLTREGY
