We are new to the RV world

We bought a 2019 Montana 3931FB on April 24. We do not have a truck yet so we have it parked at a local campground for this year. Next year will be when we purchase a truck. Does anyone have this 5th wheel and what do you use to tow with?

Welcome to the forum! That is a nice, big trailer weighing in at about 16,500 lbs. I too would recommend a one ton diesel dually.

Welcome, and congrats on the Montana. What a Rig!! At 40' and 8 tons you'll definitely need the 1 ton diesel, dual rear wheel truck. Mind the payload weight since the Montana is 2500+ lbs. on the king pin.
Something like the photo below might work

Agree with everyone about diesel DRW. Not to be overlooked is the ability to slow that beast on downhill grades. We relied considerably on our diesel exhaust brakes crossing the Canadian Rockies last year. Welcome to the forum and many happy trails.

Welcome to the forum from upstate NY. Good decision to get the right truck for your rig. As others have said - 1 ton dually is needed.

Currently using an F450 diesel. Previously used a Silverado 3500 diesel. Both with dual rear wheels. The 450 has plenty of power to pull our Fuzion 414 plus I like the amenities inside. Lol.
