Shower head

Is there some type of shower head or a way to modify shower so water flows straight down instead of a angle. Ours sprays out and the water runs downs shower door and sides. If enough water runs down side, water runs under side and leaks in floor. Looking for some way to have a rain shower head or some way for shower to spray straight down. I have caulked and caulked shower side panels.Click image for larger version

Perhaps you could get a rounded shower curtain and install it in the inside of the shower so that the water doesn't hit the door.

Well- no sure if it will fix your problem, but Oxygenics shower head is one that a lot of people, to include ourselves, swear-by. It gives a different type of spray configuration, a bit more downward spray and delivers more pressure than the OEM type shower-head.

Our shower has a head similar to yours but it is mounted on an upright bar with an adjustable "holder" so our shower head can be mounted at most any height and angle. In the picture, I'm wondering if the top attachment may be upside down? Looking at it it appears you could possibly turn the top attachment upside down and let the showerhead spray down.

On the other hand, you need to investigate why water would run outside the enclosure. That would indicate an additional problem to me.

Edit: I did try an Oxygenics head that had a sharp bend that would probably work for you if your attachments are correct.

On page 6, in the center of the page is the RV Shower Slide Bar that is described in the above post. https://static1.squarespace.com/stat...19+Catalog.pdf

This is where you can purchase one of these slide bars. http://www.rvfaucet.com/shower-accessories/

I have the exact same setup (2018 Laredo 288RL) as you OP. Except my shower head "doo-hicky" mount has two positions...one that point out like yours and a second that angle the shower head downwards. I don't have any issue with water leaking out of shower. I hope you got your leaks taken care of....

If you want to install a shower slide bar, Lowe's has about 10-15 for less than $50. Some as cheap as $30. If you do install one, be sure to anchor it to a wall stud behind the shower wall. If you just screw it through the thin vinyl and the 1/8" luan backer, it won't last much more than one or two trips before it's loose and wobbly....

Do a "item search" on the Lowe's site for Shower slide bar. You'll get several choices.....

And be sure to seal the screw holes with silicone or something similar so that you do not leak into the wall from those openings.
