2017 Impact 303 Owner from E. TN...

Hello all,
I just signed up for the forum today. Yesterday, my wife and I drove up to Ringgold, Virginia and picked up our new Impact 303 and brought it home. This is my first ever TT, which is also a Toy Hauler. I pulled trailers of various kinds over the past 40+ years, from small motorcycle trailers to jet ski trailers, to a 19 1/2' open bow ski boat, to a few enclosed cargo trailers. My present trailer is a 7' x 16' plus 2 v-nose enclosed trailer and it will go up for sale shortly.

Our number one hobby is doing motorcycle track days. In fact, we are both Instructors with a large track day organization and teach folks how to ride on a racetrack/road course on sportbikes......thus the enclosed trailer with it set up to haul two track bikes, a pit bike, and tools, fuel, spare tires/wheels, etc. We've always stayed in a hotel for the two day weekends, but now, with the new toy hauler, we'll be staying at the track from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon.....in our new Impact 303. Since I got the one that has a 10' garage area, I'm going to have to get a bit creative on being able to bring everything (except a generator) over to the new one. The Impact has the 5500W Onan genny, so I can leave my Yamaha generator at home now.

Here are a couple of pics of us doing our thing on the track.....

This one is of me at the new track in Bowling Green, KY at the National Corvette Motorsports facility track...

And here is one of my wife at the same track in a different corner.

Congrats on your new purchase. Lots of great people and tons of excellent information here. I believe we have a few motorcycle enthusiasts here.

I saw your introduction post and saw where you made a trip from K.C. to New Athens, IL. Just curious if you have family/friends there. I was born and raised in Granite City, IL, which is only 35-40 from New Athens. My wife and I moved to Maryville, TN about 10 years ago, and she was originally from Highland, IL.........small world sometimes. Congrats on your new 312, it's a nice one for sure.

I am from Belleville originally and played GC in football and baseball. We still have family in the area: Belleville, Columbia, Marissa and St. Lou. Yes it's a very small world. We are at a new state park in MO, Echo Bluff by Eminence. The camp host is from the east end of Belleville. Happy Trails.

Yep, small world for sure. I worked at Granite City Steel for 30 years as a Journeyman Electrician and one of the fellows that I worked with was from New Athens. Hope you guys enjoy the new trailer and I'm sure y'all will put it to good use. Travel safe.

Your impact!

Vern, I’m around 90% sure I have your old toyhauler! If so, you did an amazing job on it. I stumbled across you while looking at forums about roofs. I was wondering if you put Eternabond on the roof.

Howdy and welcome!

My 2-wheel ride is a vintage Honda CB-550-4. Won't do corners like yours, but at least I do get waves from Harley riders when on the road.

Take care!

Hello Jls.......and welcome to the forum. Wow, that would definitely be a small world if in fact it is my previous T.H. Is there a second A/C unit on it...in the garage area? Does it have a Home made slide in the baggage compartment? I also added a Progressive EMS under the bed in the storage area. Where did you buy it from? I traded it in at Southaven RV over in Southaven, MS....just below Memphis, TN about 15-20 miles. Here is a pic of the baggage slide that I built and put in it.....does yours have this?

Yes! I bought it from Southaven in October. I absolutely love it. How crazy is this?! Lol I was reading all your threads about the different stuff you did to it. You must’ve just traded it in when I found it.

Wow....what a small world for sure. I'm thrilled that you like it. Did you find the "Powermate" switches that I installed? Did they even tell you anything about them? If you already know about their capability, that's awesome....if you don't, PM and I'll fill you in. They are the switches for the slides and for the awning to be able to run them in/out remotely from a phone app.

I'm hoping you post some pics and I'm really glad you like it....that was/is a very nice trailer....it was just going to be a little to small for us because we are now both retired and planning on doing some traveling...when the virus situation is under better control.

One other important question for you....are you from Munford, AL? If you are, that trailer has been through Munford several times....we did motorcycle track days at Little Tally....just down the road a few miles from Munford, AL!

Do you ever remember seeing the silo along Rt. 21.....Talladega Grand Prix Raceway.....

That would actually be great! I don’t think they even knew what all they had on it honestly. Not sure how to PM on here but I’d love to know about all the cool features they I may not know about. I knew I could
Level it with an app but I didn’t know about the slides and awning.
What we’ve been doing with it!

OK, it's easy to PM someone. On one of my posts, click on my user name (xrated) at the top left of my post. A drop down list of options will appear and just click Send A Private message to xrated. It will open a page and you can put in a title, then ask away whatever you want.

I just remembered, I did leave the LevelMate Pro in the trailer too. The same company that makes the LM Pro, also makes the PowerMate Pro......Logic Blue Technologies. As you saw, there are buttons on the three PowerMate switches to operate the kitchen slide, the sofa slide, and the awning. Those switches also have Blue Tooth capability and you can operate them from a phone app, just like you do with the LevelMate Pro app. PM me and I'll send you some links to the PowerMate Pro stuff.
