Low Point Drain Modification

Low point drains on the Tumbleweed are basically PEX tubes with end caps on them. Would it be a problem to put 1/4 turn valves in place of the caps?

Mine was located about 3ft under my camper and It was a pain to get too..I ended cutting the pex where the cap was and putting a sharkbite elbow with a 2ft piece of cpvc and a shutoff that i can just reach down to drain now..works great

Mine are close to the frame rails so I don't have that problem but that is a great idea.
