So I don't like this video but these traps are what I've used in lift shacks over the summer when I worked in the ski industry.

I always used a tall boy can because, well they are around. I also kept water in the bottom of the bucket. Remove drowned critters and repeat. Pretty effective.

There's other versions that have a hinged plank.
